Some more little matters... : We're opening a new section!

Hello guys! See, I'm here, at home and sick. Getting better through the hours, and when I have turn on the computer and I have played to POTTERMORE an idea has occurred to me, why not make a new section in the blog? One in the one I can write those things I write without a section, as the ones "Just proud because of this blog",... Well, above all this, the section's name's going to be "Some more little matters..." and in Spanish "Algunas cositas más...". 'You like it? I hope so.

I think about it as a good idea, for me to continue organizing the blog better and those, (also I liked the tittle ( : ).

Algunas cositas más... : ¡Comenzamos una nueva sección!

¡Hola chic@s! Mirad, yo estoy aquí, en mi casa. Me he levantado con dolores de tripa y demás así que adiós el colegio. Poco a poco voy a mejor y al ponerme al ordenador y tras jugar a POTTERMORE se me ha ocurrido una cosa, ¡vamos a crear una sección nueva en el blog! De vez en cuando os hablo de los avances de la página o de cosas que no son tan globales como los libros y demás... Como las entradas de orgullosa de mi página web y demás. El caso es que esta nueva sección se va a llamar "Algunas cositas más..." como ya estrena el título de esta entrada. La voy a redactar en castellano e inglés, así más gente la podrá leer. Espero que os guste, el título en inglés es: "Some more little matters...", ¿os gusta? Espero que sí.

A mí me parece una buena idea, ya que de vez en cuando os hablo de cosas así, ¡dadme vuestra opinión!

¡Hola de nuevo! No voy a decir esta semana pero si este día. Lo siento pero no he tenido tiempo para escribir con las tareas del colegio y demás. De todas formas lo que os quería contar ya lo he hecho hoy y espero que me haya quedado bien.

Os he escrito sobre "The Wise Man's Fear", un libro en inglés que narra la segunda parte de la historia de Kvothe, por Patrick Rothfuss. Si estáis interesados en el libro en español podréis leer "El Nombre del Viento" ("The Name of the Wind"), pero no "El Temor un Hombre Sabio", que es el libro del que os he hablado porque  no sale hasta el 3 de Noviembre.

Más cosas... También os he escrito en "Noticias para niños" o "Kids news" sobre el 59 Festival de Cine de San Sebastián que ha tenido lugar esta semana pasada. Si fuisteis espero que os gustara y si no podéis entrar en la página del evento que he adjuntado a la noticia para poder saber un poco más de ello.

Kids news: 59 Cinema Festival in San Sebastián

Hello guys! Last week the 59 Cinema Festival has take place in San Sebastián. Lots of important actors have stayed in the María Cristina Hotel, in the center of the city. It's been great and yesterday loads of movies, actors, cinema directors and those were awarded with the shells.

I don't know if you have been in the city these days. I was there last Saturday and I enjoyed it a lot, but it was raining a lot. I don't know why every time the Festival starts it starts to rain too... I leave you the official page and a picture.

Noticias para niños: 59 Festival de Cine en San Sebastián

¡Hola amig@s! Esta última semana ha tenido lugar el 59 Festival de Cine en San Sebastián. Durante esta semana actores importantes han estado alojados en el Hotel María Cristina, en el centro de la ciudad. En este festival se han presentado varias películas españolas de todo tipo y muchas consiguieron ayer las conchas.

También se premiaron las mejores fotografías de las películas, los mejores actores, directores...

No se si alguno de vosotros habrá estado en la ciudad durante estos días. Yo estuve el Sábado pasado y muy bonito, aunque estaba lloviendo a cántaros. No se pero siempre que toca el Festival de Cine se pone a llover... ¿por qué será? Os dejo la página oficial del evento y una fotografía.

English books: The Wise Man's Fear

Hello guys! I'm so sorry for leaving the blog for a time so long but in my school the Professors might think that we don´t have enough homework for keeping us "happy". You know, we're fed up with homework! But the thing is that at this right moment I have some time for writing you about a book I finished decades ago (more than one week). This one's "The Wise Man's Fear", the second part of the Kingkiller Chronicle. The first "day" was "The Name of the Wind" and I wrote you about it too. For you to remember, it talks about Kvothe's story, a young boy that finds his parents and his whole Edema Ruh troupe dead by the Chandrian, very dangerous people. Kvothe enters to the University at a very young age and he starts being an "interesting" person. He lives lots of adventures and those.

The book is tolled by Kvothe him shelve, when he gets older.

In this second part Kvothe goes out from the University for a while. He goes to Vintas, looking for a patron and he starts finding him shelve with important people. During this time he helps a noble with a women and he goes to find some bandits that stole his mayor treasures.

He also spends time with Felurian, one of the Fae and lots of more things.

Are you looking forward to reading it? I hope so because it's an amazing book!

¡Hola chic@s! Siento el que ayer no pude escribir pero entre una cosa y otra... ¡uff! ¡No saqué tiempo! En fin, poco que decir. Esta semana pasada con lo de que empecé el colegio sólo escribí una entrada en "Noticias para niños" o "Kids news" preguntando que tal la primera semana... No mucho pero me apetecía escribir.

Hello guys! I'm so happy to write again! Well, I just want to ask you about your week. Mine has been good, I'm so happy to meet again my friends. ¡Hola de nuevo! Aquí estoy, con los informativos de mi blog una semana más.

Chic@s, esta semana os he hablado sobre "Astro Boy", una película de animación sobre un niño robot que tras ser desterrado por "su padre" trata de buscar una vida nueva y se encuentra salvando su ciudad. Vedla, merece la pena.

Os he hablado sobre POTTERMORE, la página para continuar viviendo las aventuras de Harry Potter. Os hablé de los perfiles, las actividades y las opciones que la página te propone. Espero que os gustara y os sirviera de utilidad.

Hoy os he escrito sobre la feria medieval que pasa por Pamplona y que termina hoy a la tarde así que subid al centro un rato y disfrutad de una Pamplona "antigua".

Para finalizar (y con gran pena por mi parte), he despedido este maravilloso verano en "Noticias para niños" o "Kids news", dejando bastante claro que el madrugar y la rutina diaria no es lo que más me gusta. Y yo ahora sonriéndome en frente del ordenador. Hay de mí cuando llegue el martes y a las siete arriba, entonces me acordaré de ese par de entradas y de lo bien que estoy ahora, por una tarde más.

Kids news: We say goodbye to the summer, back to class!

Hello guys! I bring you a good new and a bad new, the school vacations are finishing! It's good to see the friends again but in the other side having to wake up early again, study and make homework doesn't seem so good. And, of course, we can´t go to pass the day to the swimming pool, or to the beach, or to the countryside.

I'm so sad! Buah...! At this right moment I'm suffering a "end of vacations" depression (that's what I call it).

Most of you should have started by this point of the month, my brother started the eight but... Tomorrow's my day. A pity, in fact. I give thanks because I can study and learn but... truly, who wants to start waking up at seven o'clock in the morning and stay sitting down in a desk the whole day? No one, I say.

Well, boys, just wish you a good start with the school and the daily routine (hey, the person that invented the daily routine and to get up early... made us a big fiddle).

Noticias para niños: Despedimos el verano, ¡vuelta a la escuela!

¡Hola chic@s! Os traigo buenas y malas noticias, ¡se nos terminan las vacaciones escolares! Por un lado está bien el volver a ver a los amig@s y demás pero por otro lado el tener que madrugar, estudiar y hacer tareas no apetece tanto. Además que ya no se puede uno ir a pasar el día a la piscina, o a la playa, o al campo.

¡Yo estoy muy triste! ¡Buah...! Ahora mismo estoy sufriendo lo que se llama una depresión de final de vacaciones, (o así la llamo yo).

Muchos de vosotros probablemente ya habéis comenzado, mi hermano comenzó el día ocho pero yo empiezo mañana. Una pena, la verdad. Yo doy gracias por poder estudiar y aprender pero... la verdad, ¿a quién le apetece levantarse a las siete de la mañana y pasarse todo el día sentado en un pupitre? A nadie, si ya lo digo yo.

En fin, chic@s, que mucha suerte con vuestros comienzos de curso y con la rutina diaria (por cierto, el/la que inventó la rutina diaria y el madrugar... nos hizo un buen chanchullo).

Kids news: The medieval fair passes through Pamplona

Hello friends! Here we are again! Last Friday, nine of September, the medieval fair arrived to Pamplona and after two days and a half it's leaving tonight.

This fair goes through most of the towns in Navarre and the people that work in it bring us interesting stands of jewels, toys, food, notebooks, belts, lamps and those type of things.

Everything is handmade with no machines and it's an interesting experience.

You can also have bar snacks of cheese or "chistorra" in a big stand in the Square of San Francisco, enjoy small medieval acts in the street or watch the tools they used in that times for harming people.

The stands are located in the old part of the city, mostly in the streets Mayor and Zapatería and in the Great Hall and San Francisco squares.

I encourage you up to come, it's really great and you'll have fun. It's the best way of enjoying a very "medieval" experience.

I wish you like the photograph, you can see some of the stands in Zapatería street (I made it).

Remember that today's the last afternoon to come!

Noticias para niños: La feria medieval pasa por Pamplona

¡Hola chic@s! ¡Aquí estamos de nuevo! Este pasado viernes, nueve de Septiembre, la feria medieval llegó a Pamplona y tras dos días y medio de diversión y puestos termina hoy a la noche.

Esta feria se mueve por pueblos de toda Navarra y la gente que la componen traen puestos muy interesantes de joyas, juguetes, comida, cuadernos, cinturones, lamparas y demás cosas. Todo es artesanal y es una experiencia interesante.

También se pueden tomar pinchos de chistorra o queso en un puesto instalado en la Plaza San Francisco, disfrutar de animaciones medievales por las calles u observar los artilugios de tortura que utilizaban en aquella época.
Los puestos están distribuidos por el Casco Viejo, más que todo en la Calle Mayor, Zapatería, la Plaza del Ayuntamiento y la Plaza de San Francisco.

Os animo a que vengáis, está muy bien y pasaréis un buen rato. Es la mejor manera de disfrutar de una experiencia muy "medieval".

Espero que la foto os guste, en ella se ven algunos puestos de la calle Zapatería (la he hecho yo).

Kids news: POTTERMORE, a page to explore

Guys! Today I've been exploring POTTERMORE'S page, it's incredible! What I told you about it ran slowly and those things, it only goes that way in Ubuntu (a program as Windows), because the Flash works worse in it. So I recommend you to use this page in Windows.

You can make friends through all the world, potions, spells...

You also have to buy your school material in Diagon Alley and to pass through the Sorting Hat. Do you know in what house I am? I'm in Ravenclaw! It suits me, no? Ja, ja! I'm so happy about it, truly. And the color of the house if blue! My favorite color! It doesn't have anything to do with it but... I'm telling you everything.

You would need to talk with Olivander and to answer him the questions he makes you honestly, for him to give you the better wand for you.

Guys, I love this page. It's like living for myself Harry's adventures, what else can I ask for?

You can go exploring the adventure through the seven Harry Potter books and collecting objects from them. This objects, as making potions or Wizards Duels will give you points for your house.

Ravenclaw is the leader, then Slytherin, Gryffindor and finally Hufflepuff. I leave you the points of each house:

¡Chic@s! Hoy he seguido explorando la página de POTTERMORE, ¡es increíble! Lo que os dije de que iba lento y así... Era porque en Ubuntu (un programa operativo), el Flash no trabaja tan bien como en Windows así que os recomiendo que al utilizar la página accedáis desde Windows.

Podéis hacer amigos de todas partes del mundo, pociones, hechizos...

Me quedé muy contenta, la verdad. Además su color es el azul, ¡mi color favorito! No tiene nada que ver pero en fin, todo hay que decirlo.

Chic@s, a mí me encanta. Es como vivir las aventuras de Harry en mi propia carne... ¡Qué mejor!

Kids news: I'm in POTTERMORE!

Hello guys! The owl with my POTTERMORE WELCOME letter has arrived! I'm so happy to have it!

Now, talking about the site... I like it a lot. It's good and you've got a trunk, a page for your friends, a profile...

It works well, but a lot of times if goes slow and it gets stuck in a certain page (I can't pass from Diagon Alley).

In your profile you're able to change the language of the page, your photograph, your contact email... Those things.

Well, I´m not telling you any more for you to discover it yourselves!!!

Noticias para niños: ¡Estoy en POTTERMORE!

¡Hola chic@s! ¡Hoy ha llegado mi lechuza de POTTERMORE! Ya he entrado en el sitio y está muy bien. Contáis con vuestro propio baúl, amigos y demás.

En el perfil podéis cambiar cosas tales como vuestra fotografía, el correo de contacto o el idioma de la página.

Lo que es la página... a mí me gusta pero va un poco lenta y hay veces que se bloquea (yo no consigo pasar del quinto capítulo en el Callejón Diagón).

A good film: Astro Boy

Hello friends! This afternoon I have watched "Astro Boy" at home. It´s a film about a guy, Toby, that lives in Metro city. His father is a great doctor that experiments with robots. Thanks to him, Metro city has robots every wear. In an accident, Toby dies and his father creates a robot with Toby´s memories and feelings. He gives him life thanking an experiment of a friend of his. If it's used well it's harmless, if it's not... Bad thing.

The robots father starts thinking that this robot is not his son at all (he thinks well) and he throws him away.

The robot finishes in the surface, because Metro city is suspended in the air. There he finds boys and girls that are humans and that don't have parents. A men takes care of them but this men uses robots for fighting as an entertainment.

This men discovers that the Astro (that´s how they call him in the surface) is a robot and he tries to destroy him but he cant´s.

A day, Astro sees that in Metro city something is going wrong and he goes there to find what it is.

This will lead to a battle, a reconciliation and some friendships forever.

Watch it and discover how it ends!

Informativos de mi blog LV

¡Hola chic@s! Os traigo de nuevo los informativos de mi blog. Esta semana os he escrito la "Frase del Mes" y la "Historia de los libros día a día" de Septiembre. También os he escrito sobre las visitas guiadas a las Huertas de Elkarkide en Aranzadi, un proyecto para ayudar a personas con problemas mentales a integrarse en la sociedad. Os escribí sobre esto en "Noticias para niños" o "Kids news". Os he hablado sobre un nuevo libro: "La Séptima BRUJA", el cual a mí me ha dejado muy buen sabor de boca y que espero que si lo leéis os suceda lo mismo. La protagonista llamada Meg, una adolescente de trece años, os llevará siglos atrás con su ordenador y algo de magia para rescatar a sus hermanas, las otras seis brujas.

Por último he escrito sobre las visitas guiadas al Ayuntamiento de Pamplona porque es el aniversario del Privilegio de la Unión, creado en 1473 por Carlos III el Noble uniendo los tres burgos de Pamplona de aquel entonces y creando un único Ayuntamiento con el mismo Gobierno para todos. La visita está muy bien y espero que asistáis, es totalmente gratis.

Kids news: Lead visit to Pamplona's Great Hall

Hello again! Last Friday I went to a lead visit to Pamplona's Great Hall with my father and my brother. The visits have been created because of that it's the anniversary of the Union Privilege, the one was created by Carlos III the Noble in 1423, uniting the three "burgos" (the different sections in the ones the city was divided): San Cernín, Navarrería and San Nicolás creating a single Great Hall and the same government form.

They explained us the history of this building and the one of Pamplona before it was built.

The first Great Hall was built in the XV century and it lasted 'till 1752. It was destroyed in 1760 and after this the second Great Hall, from the one we still have the facade. The interior of the Great Hall that we've got now a day's was finished in 1953.

During the visit they show us the windows that represent the different "burgos", the Plenary Room and the Reception one.

In the Reception Room there were the city keys, paintings that were gift to the kings as the ones Francisco de Asís gift to Isabel the II, table watches, pottery and candelabras. Also there was a chapel with a figure of Saint Fermín that they use when the Aralar Angel comes to the city.

With the union of the three "burgos" the shield changed, replacing the three different shields with one single one, with a lion and a crown above it, surrounded by chains.

In the Plenary Room we sat in the place were the audience sits and they explained us were the representative people for each different political party sits normally.

For finishing they explained us different matters on the facade.

Above the entrance door there's a sentence in Latin:

"The door is open for everyone, but especially the hearth".

In each side of the door there are statues that represent Prudence and Justice. In the top of the building there are also three statues representing Hercules and fame.

We can appreciate the three different types of columns in the facade: Doric, Ionic and Corinthian. The last one was created because of the Cultural Fusion between the Greek culture and the Asiatic one, in the Hellenistic times made by Alexander the Great.

Also the watch that every sixth of July at twelve o'clock in the midday announces the beggining of San Fermín.

There are loads of more things apart from this ones but I've told you about the ones they told me in the visit.

Noticias para niños: Visita guiada al Ayuntamiento de Pamplona

¡Hola de nuevo! El pasado viernes fui a una visita guiada con mi padre y mi hermano al Ayuntamiento de Pamplona. Han creado las visitas guiadas al Ayuntamiento porque este ocho de septiembre se cumple el aniversario del Privilegio de la Unión, el que promulgó Carlos III el Noble en 1423, uniendo los tres burgos de entonces: el de San Cernín, Navarrería y San Nicolás, creando un único Ayuntamiento y la misma forma de gobierno. Nos explicaron la historia de ese edificio y la de Pamplona antes de que se creara.

El primer Ayuntamiento se construyó en el siglo XV y duró hasta 1752. Este edificio se derribó en 1760 y tras el se inauguró el segundo Ayuntamiento, del que hoy conservamos su fachada. El edificio como lo conocemos hoy lo terminaron en 1953.

Durante la visita nos enseñaron las cristaleras representando los tres antiguos burgos, el Salón de Plenos y el de Recepciones.

En el Salón de Recepciones estaban las llaves de la ciudad, cuadros que se les regalaron a los Reyes como el obsequio de Franciasco de Asís a Isabel II, relojes, jarrones y candelabros con historia, una capilla con el santo San Fermín que utilizan con la visita del Ángel Aralar a la ciudad y muchas otras cosas.

Con la unión de los tres burgos el escudo también cambió, sustituyendo cada uno de los diferentes escudos por uno común, con un león y una corona encima de él, rodeado por cadenas.

En el Salón de Plenos en el que se reúnen los políticos nos sentamos en los bancos para los espectadores y nos explicaron donde se sentaba cada representante de los distintos partidos políticos.

Por último nos explicaron la fachada. En la entrada hay una frase que dice en latín "La puerta está abierta para todos, pero sobre todo el corazón". A cada lado de la puerta hay estatuas que representan la Prudencia y la Justicia, al igual que hay estatuas en la parte más alta del edificio, representando a Hércules y a la Fama.

Tenemos los tres tipos de columnas de arte griego, Dórico, Iónico y Corintio, la última inventada gracias a la Fusión Cultural de la cultura griega con la asiática dada gracias a Alexander el Bueno en la época Helenística.

También se vislumbra claramente el reloj que marca las doce el día seis de julio todos los años dando comienzo a los Sanfermines.

Hay muchas más cosas a parte de todo esto pero es lo que más llama la atención y lo que muestran en la visita.

LIBROS: "La Séptima BRUJA"

¡Hola chic@s! Se que os dije que el próximo libro del que os hablaría sería "The Wise Men's Fear", pero el caso es que una muy buena amiga mía me dejo un libro llamado "La Séptima BRUJA". No le quería hacer esperar y me picaba la curiosidad. No me suele gustar mezclar dos historias a la vez pero este caso era un poco... excepcional. Así que hace un par de días lo comencé a leer y como siempre me pasa a mí con las historias... me enganché. Solamente hay dos libros de todos los que he leído que no han conseguido sumergirme en sus páginas: uno que leí hace años, de pequeña sobre unos monstruitos verdes y otro "El Hobbit". Con este último se que fue porque lo empecé a leer de muy pequeña y a pesar de acabarlo no entendía palabras, se me hacía complejo. De todas formas estoy segura de que cuando lo vuelva a leer y retome esa historia sus páginas me parecerán un tesoro, tal y como las de otros volúmenes. Otro motivo, ahora que lo pienso, es que me estaba releyendo los libros de Harry Potter y como siempre van a ser "mis libros"... pues eso, se me hacía difícil sacarme al mago de la cabeza.

En fin, que no estoy aquí para explicaros mis extraños sentimientos hacia los libros, estoy aquí para recomendaros este maravilloso volumen, sobre una pequeña bruja de trece años, Meg.

Meg es una chica americana que asiste a un colegio como cualquier otra persona. A veces le parece ver seres que le hablan, animales o que los árboles tienen vida y cosas así. Sus padres adoptivos le dicen que es por su gran imaginación pero ella sabe que no es así.

En su colegio hay una chica llamada Rex-lo, la cual es "la matona" del lugar. Rex-lo abusa de Meg y un día le pide que le haga muchísimos trabajos que tienen que entregar en clase y que se los lleve a un parque.

Meg es astuta y aunque los escribe los firma ella, ya que están hechos a mano. De esa manera Rex-lo tendrá que copiarlos ella de nuevo.

Al darse cuenta de ello Rex-lo se convierte en un lobo que comienza a perseguir a Meg por el parque. Cuando la va a atacar un oso plateado protege a Meg. Rex-lo huye y el oso plateado se convierte en una chica, joven pero de largos cabellos plateados. Ella le dice que es una bruja y que tiene que salvar a sus otras seis hermanas, distribuidas en distintos tiempos en la historia. Estas chicas terminaron todas muertas en su época pero Meg las tiene que rescatar para que el Mago Negro no lo haga por su cuenta y consiga el poder de todo el mundo.

Meg dará comienzo a una aventura viajando con la máquina del tiempo de su ordenador en compañía del chico que le gusta, Damon, el más popular del barrio.

¿Conseguirán salvar a las brujas e impedir el plan del Mago Oscuro? ¡Descubridlo vosotros!

Kids news: Lead visit to Elkarkide's truck gardens in Aranzadi (Pamplona)

Hello guys! How is it going? I have went to a lead visit this morning to Elkarkide's truck gardens in Aranzadi (Pamplona). I have enjoyed it a lot and you didn't have to pay for entering. It has take place from 11:00AM to 11:30AM.

They've told us that its a company that was founded twenty years ago, in 1991.

It's propose is to give work to people with mental problems and to help them to find their place in society with work in group, the relationship with the other workers...

350 people are involved in this project and 150 of them workers.

Most of this people work in the truck gardens planting, cultivating, irrigating... It's a hard work, hard but pretty.

Their products are natural from the head to toes and the products the use for killing the insects from the plants and those things are also natural, they're not chemical, they come from other types of plants.

It's a very interesting and well thought project and they have more truck gardens apart from the one in Aranzadi. The products they get from them they sell them in little stands at the entrance to the truck gardens or they send them to other shops and those...

In the lead visit they have shown us all of it and they've got everything very organized, distributed depending on the different plantations. They have potatoes, tomatoes, chards, beans... Lots of things.

Also the use the wastes they produce as bad potatoes, roots and those for making natural fertilizer.

In short, is a project with future and very interesting and original.

Noticias para niños: Visita guiada a las Huertas de Elkarkide en Aranzadi (Pamplona)

¡Hola chic@s! ¿Qué tal todo? Yo esta mañana he ido a una visita guiada a las Huertas de Elkarkide en Aranzadi (Pamplona). Era totalmente gratis y de 11:00AM a 11:30AM. A mí me ha gustado mucho así que os dejo una entrada sobre ello.

Nos han explicado que es una empresa que se fundo hace veinte años, en 1991.

Su objetivo es intentar que personas con problemas mentales se integren en la sociedad mediante el trabajo en equipo, la relación con los compañeros de trabajo...

En este proyecto están involucradas 350 personas y 150 son trabajadores. Muchos de los trabajadores trabajan recogiendo los cultivos de las huertas de Elkarkide, plantando, regando... Un trabajo muy duro pero bonito.

Sus productos son completamente naturales, hasta sus insecticidas están hechos a partir de productos naturales, no son químicos.

Es un proyecto muy interesante y muy bien pensado. Tienen más huertas a parte de la de Aranzadi, y de los productos que obtienen de ellas los venden en puestos a la entrada de las huertas y algunos otros los envían a tiendas o a guarderías del Gobierno de Navarra.

En la visita nos han enseñado toda la huerta y la tienen muy bien organizada. Cuentan con invernaderos parar ciertas verduras y hortalizas y luego tienen plantaciones de patatas, acelgas, alubias... Muchísimas cosas.

Además utilizan los desechos que producen como raíces, patatas malas, etc. para crear abono natural.

En definitiva, es un proyecto con futuro y muy original e interesante.
