"Poesía del Mes" Diciembre del 2013

Ahora os traigo la de este mes, a falta de un día para que termine.
Otra mía, espero que os guste.

-3rd Composition-

And I'll only spoil the party for you

I think I'd rather leave it in darkness

Replaying in my mind a beautiful sunshine

There's only me, there's only you

Fighting off urges to get all grown,

break my voice

Tricky treaty, I made myself

Tricky treat, treaty, treat

Take a photo, mind me staying.

Not the background, worthless saying.

Let you taste that dawn feeling.

Oh, what's kept you from that,

single feeling, just arrived:

spoiling beauty tonight

would be a regrettable, unforgettable crime

My sense of right,

should be the enough,

which kept me from getting anywhere

by your side.

Not that you'd mind,

your voice's kept me from hearing my own

spoil the party for you.

There is no better place tonight for me

but to keep watch in the background,

not to spoil you.

Not spoil the party.

And, high on top,

don't get your voice off track way too soon,

needing a new recording to rewind,

sunshine times sweeping off...

Oh, way too soon.

"Poesía del mes" Noviembre del 2013

Os traigo una de mis poesías, también está en inglés pero mi cumpleaños es en noviembre así que he pensado que me dedicaba a mí misma el mes. :)

-2nd Composition-

I didn't really think
it was all we would ever have
until it was far gone,
far over.
Found myself taken aback.


You took me away to some place
where I didn't really wanna go,
though once found myself there
 no going back did my own being want.


I didn't think it was all you could ever give me
until you walked away.
Now I know I was wrong,
now I know there was no reason for me to be.
For us to exist.
And for you to cling on me.

"En Llamas", ¡ya en cines!

Lo siento en el alma.
Pretendía haber publicado esta entrada allá por finales de Noviembre, que es cuando se estrenó en el cine, pero no fue el caso. Así que, bueno... ¡mejor tarde que nunca! :)

Por fin ha llegado la esperada secuela a "Los Juegos del Hambre" de Suzanne Collins a la gran pantalla, ¡y de qué manera!

La opinión general (en la cual me incluyo) es que se han tocado la liga con esta entrega, ¡menuda adaptación!
Han conseguido reflejar el libro -prácticamente- a la perfección. Por ello, mis felicitaciones al equipo. :)

Y, como de costumbre, os cuento un "poquillo" de qué va.
Katniss Everdeen. Tributo del distrito 12 de Panem (que ahora que estudio latín me he enterado que significa "PAN"; ¡ja, ja!) para los 74º Juegos del Hambre.
Junto con Peeta Mellark, su compañero, ganan los Juegos. Por primera vez dos personas ganan unos juegos en los que la lucha entre los concursantes es a muerte y sólo sobrevive uno. Esto causa una revolución, pues ellos fuerzan al Capitolio a darles el podio a ambos tras una serie de circunstancias. Se convierten en el símbolo de revueltas en los distritos, pues la gente ve en ellos la esperanza de que, si unen sus fuerzas, pueden ser libres de nuevo y salir de la opresión del Capitolio.
"En llamas" es la segunda entrega en la que, contra todo pronóstico, los tributos para los 75º Juegos del Hambre son elegidos del conjunto de tributos ganadores de cada distrito, por ser el tercer "Quarter Quell". La traducción sería "Cuarto de apaciguamiento" o algo parecido... No sé cómo lo pondrán en la versión en castellano.
Esta evasiva busca eliminarlos del mapa pero... ¿podrá el Capitolio con ellos?

Es una gran película y todavía está en cines, ¡a ver si podéis verla!
La traducción del título no me convence... "Catching Fire" sería "prendiendo", ¿no? Guarda más relación con la evolución de la historia... Pero bueno, también es verdad que "En llamas" es un título más agradable. :)

Sinceramente, doy el año por perdido -a buena hora, ¿eh? A falta de un día para que empiece el nuevo... :-)-.
Lo siento mucho, la verdad es que ha sido un año bastante malo (en cuanto a entradas publicadas)...
Pero quiero cerrarlo bien. Así que os traigo los últimos informativos pendientes y alguna que otra cosilla...
Bueno, allá por la primera semana del mes publiqué un par de entradas.
La primera fue en inglés, sobre una película que todos conocéis muy bien... "The Smurfs 2"! :)

Espero que pudieseis disfrutar con ellos de una aventura loca más y, sobre todo, que los pequeños de la casa también lo hicieran.

A continuación publiqué otra entrada sobre "THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS BOOK FIVE: City of Lost Souls".
¡Vamos llegando al final de la saga! :-( ¡Noooooooooooo! ("Sniff, sniff")

En este tomo Clary debe enfrentarse a "The Clave" para poder ir en busca de Jace, que está ligado "para la eternidad" a su hermano Sebastian.
¿Conseguirá encontrarle? Y, peor aún... ¿conseguirá rescatarle de su endemoniado destino?

Si os ha ido gustando la saga leedlo, es una buena secuela. Si no sabéis inglés y -por tanto- no tenéis ni idea de qué va esto... Deciros que es una saga magnífica, la recomiendo (especialmente) al público adolescente. El primer libro es "Cazadores de Sombras: Ciudad de Hueso". Buscadlo en las tiendas :) (Autora: Cassandra Clare).

¡Y eso fue todo!

Me pongo a escribir que hay una SEÑORA NOVEDAD en cines desde hace UN SEÑOR MES y todavía no os he hablado de ella. `:) ¡Mil perdones!

English Books: THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS BOOK FIVE, City of Lost Souls

Here we are again :)

I finished this fifth book on the Mortal Instruments saga almost a month ago, I don't know why I didn't write about it before... And I still have to finish "David Copperfield" and "The Lord of the Flies"... Upps `:)...
Anyway, lets hear about "City of Lost Souls".
It's a pretty nice book, I enjoyed myself a lot.

After defeating demon Lilith, Jace was nowhere to be found. Five minutes before he was there and, suddenly, puff!
Clary is exhausted, the same as Isabelle and Alec, because the Clave is centred in finding Sebastian and not Jace, though his friends are pretty sure they should look for them both in the same place.
Clary manages to get to Jace thanks to some curious situations. But he is not Jace any longer. He is a servant of evil, bound for all eternity to Sebastian.
Eventhough, Clary still thinks she can be saved but to accomplish such a thing she has to defy the Clave by not telling them that she has found Jace's location.
In the meantime, Simon and the others are also struggling through some difficulties to help her and, in addition, Jace.
Apart from the main plot, you get really interested in Simon's love life. Also Alec's.

"The Smurfs 2", a great film!

Guys!! Something going on?

I hope everything's going just... great. :D
Anyway... I'm still watching cartoons. :)!
Two days ago I got the chance to watch "The Smurfs 2" and I jumped into the opportunity. Wanna know about our little blue fellows?

Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Vanity... Lovely, how lovely, aren't they? :D 
I really enjoyed myself while watching their adventure.
It's Smurfette's birthday and her Smurf siblings  have prepared her a birthday party which she doesn't know anything about. But, in this "not knowing" she starts to think that everyone has forgotten about her big day. She is really sad, because she thinks she doesn't belong with them, being Gargamel's "daughter" and so, evil in origin.
Gargamel sends his new  Evil Smurfs or "Naughties" to kidnap Smurfette to get her to tell him the formula to make Smurfs blue and be able to create an evil troop of Smurfs to conquer the world.
What on Earth can happen? Obviously, the Smurfs will try and rescue Smurfette but... Will she still be willing to be rescued?

It's a really nice film to watch, specially with your children. I post the trailer and poster, enjoy the comedy "smurfly"! ;)

Informativos de mi blog CXXXI

¡Chic@s!

Tengo unas ganas de vacaciones de Navidad que no me las peso... :D Pero aún quedan dos semanas. Me iba a poner a ver un capítulo de la serie que me estoy cepillando en cuatro meses de nada pero... Os sigo teniendo abandonados así que aquí estoy. :)

¿Sabéis que este año estoy haciendo natación? Bonito, ¿eh? Vuestra chica haciendo deporte, ¡quién lo hubiera dicho...! Se me va a quedar la cara cuadrada de todos los libros que leo, ¡pero no! ¡Hay que mover el esqueleto! (A lo pez... ;)

En fin, os traigo los informativos "CXXXI". ¡He arreglado los números romanos! Me queréis, lo sé. El caso es que los tengo muy oxidados y he tenido que buscarme una tabla para poder saber como van pero... ¡ya esta! Listos para partir.

Hace dos semanas (upps) os publiqué dos entradas en "Algunas cositas más" o "Some more little matters" sobre Tanner Patrick. Aunque ya le conocéis no viene mal refrescar caras de vez en cuando, ¿no?
Espero que os gustaran las canciones que publiqué.

Deciros, también, que hay noticias por mi otro blog. Ya sale en la columna de al lado pero lo digo, así os pasáis. Con "Oh, Peter" he ganado el concurso literario de... mi colegio. (Je, je). Aún y todo, lo gané. Espero que os guste :)
No sé si lo entenderéis. Si no y queréis saber que significa me escribís. :)
