Eventhough, we still do

You write in order to change the world, knowing perfectly well that you probably can't, but also knowing that literature is indispensable to the world... The world changes according to the way people see it, and if you alter, even by a millimeter, the way...

People look at reality, then you can change it.

Informativos de mi blog CXVII

Guys! What's up? Hope everything's okay :)
Yep, late again! But that's what I do, you know, write everything one week after the time when I should have written it. I can't help it... sorry, guys :/
Anyway, last week I posted a commentary on "Hotel Transilvania", this very funny film, you know it? I hope you followed my advice and watched it, it really is a good film. I laughed so very much with it that yesterday I asked my brother: "Dave, can we watch it again, please??" :) In the end we didn't have time but... :) Just watch it, okay?

Well, see you soon!!

PS: I don't know what that means but I like how it looks... Can anyone tell me about it? I'll be grateful :) Best wishes!

"Hotel Transylvania", a good film!

Guys! Last week I saw this fun film named "Transylvania Hotel", have you heard of it? I bet you have.
It's this cartoons film that was launched about three or four months ago in theaters. I couldn't manage to go (not telling you this time, private life ;) so I watched it last week at home and I really did enjoy it: astonishing, fun, beautiful... I really laughed, so very much.
It's about this Dracula family in the one the father takes care of the beautiful daughter but she's 118 now so she really thinks that she should go on and discover how the human world is out of the Monster's Hotel in the one she lives.
Dracula, his father, allows her to go and discover a fake village he's created near the area so that she gets afraid of the "humans" and never leaves his side.
It turns out okay and our little Dracula girl (named Mavis, by the way) returns distressed by her father's side. But what his father doesn't know is that a human guy is arriving to the Hotel by accident and that he'll ... I'm not telling you this, go watch the film. (I'm an evil little monster,  hahahaha!!) (Um, ;) sorry about that, I just got excited). Anyway... what will happen? It's a really funny film, you should see it. I leave you its trailer and poster. I'm telling you, WATCH IT. It's one of the greatest cartoon films they've released recently. I still smile while relieving the moments in the ones Dracula gets angry with the poor boy, so very funny :) But it's up to you, anyway, I'm not telling you what to do (watch it) ;).

And that's all folks! Hope you enjoyed it, see ya!

Informativos de mi blog CXVI

¡Chic@s!

"The Borrowers", a good film!

Guys! This week I've watched these two films... They're great. In this post I'm telling you about "The Borrowers".
:) It's based on the life of this very little people family, who live under the roof of a woman's house.
This woman's living with his grandson and his son, as the mum has just died and the father doesn't have a job.
The grandson thinks she's crazy, always humbling about a mini-family under their feet. He's like, "Really, gran?"
Anyway, the truth is that they live there and they get discovered by the family so they have to run away. In the way Arietty, the mini-daughter, discovers that there are more Borrowers, like her. She meets a guy named Spiller on her way to find another house with her parents.
But problems arrive. The grandma has told a scientist about her discovery on these "little people" and they go looking for them. They catch Arietty's parents and so she's left with Spiller to go and safe them. What will she do? Will she return to her human friend and risk everything to ask for his help?
Find it out by yourselves, it's a very good film (specially for little kids, they'll love it).

I leave you the  poster. I'm so sorry I didn't manage to find a good trailer, all the scenes are on Arietty's and Spiller's relationship and I don't really think they show how the film truly is. Anyway... I hope you like it!

¡Chic@s!
Ejem...

English books: Shadow of the Sphinx

Guys! Two days ago I finished this novel named "Shadow of the Sphinx", on "The Judge of Egypt Trilogy", remember it? I already wrote about the first two parts named "Beneath the Pyramid" and "Secrets of the Desert", I hope you liked them. And here we are! Being this the last book on this collection I wanted you to know how everything ended. Or maybe the start of the ending, as I never tell you how a book really ends, do I? ;) Lets see... (Come on, Miriam! You can do this! Remember what you where about to say!...)
Oh! Got it, ;) Lets start with the review of the book:
Pazair finds himself surrounded by Egypt's problems. Being not a simple judge (which is not a simple job at all) but a tjaty, he's in-charge of taking care of Egypt and its people.
Pharaoh Ramses is having problems. The Testament of the God's is been stolen. The country is awaiting a crisis, faming times. People ask him to make a ritual of Regeneration. But he can't without the book and if he isn't able to carry it out he's going to have to lend his place as Pharaoh to Bel Tran, Egypt's most terrible conspirator. What's Pazair to do to stop Egypt from becoming a country without rules and where the law of the strongest reigns? The reign of Ma'at cannot be transformed into that. So he must fight. Quickly. With all his intelligence and instict, he must take care of Egypt as best as he cans. With Neferet's help, Suti's and Kem's, he must surpass Bel Tran's skills of corruption. Will he be able to? I think so but better find out by yourselves, shouldn't you? :)

I leave you its data:

Title: Shadow of the Sphinx
Original title: La Justice du Vizir
Printer: Simon & Schuster
Author: Christian Jacq
Cover design: Simon & Schuster
Collection design: Simon &Schuster
Parts of the book: 1 (but there are other two book before this one, as you well know... ;)
Pages of the story: 358

That's all for now, folks!
Enjoy the Egyptian weather, (it's very hot for my liking, actually... ;)

Kids news: Photographic Exposition on The Beatles 50 anniversary

Guys! Some days ago I went to see this exposition with my parents and brother on The Beatles.
It's cool and despite the fact that it's "small" it's worth it.
You don't have to pay and you should see it if you like them because the photographs are original and taken in moments usually not seen of The Beatles: when in the dressing rooms, in the rehearsals, the airport... :)

In the year 1962 they launched their first single "Love me do". And 50 years later... Here we are still, from the four of them the one which is left is Paul McCartney. :/ We're humans, in the end we all die.

Well, that's all. I really recommend it to you. They'll give you a paper in the one they'll tell you about each photograph, it's interesting. If you can manage to, go. You won't be disappointed. It ends this 27th of January, so hurry up!

The exposition is located in Carlos III, in "Los Caidos". Either you are Spanish and reading this for fun or English and living here, in Pamplona, you might like it.
The building is located behind a big fountain, just so you know.

Best wishes, guys!

Noticias para niños: Exposición Fotográfica "The Beatles 50 aniversario" en Pamplona

¡Chic@s!

Si podéis pasaros id, no saldréis defraudados.

A mi me gustó.

"Algunas cositas más" y "Some more little matters" para despedir el 2012, desear feliz navidad... ;)
Bien, ¿no? :)

¡Saludos, gente!

Some more little matters...: How is it going?

Guys!!
I just wanted to know how is it going. That's all. Nothing else. Everything between dots. To ask. You do understand me. So that's it. To ask. If everything's running greatly. If not. Some matters of those. Because... how's your life going?

:) Leaving my paranoias behind... I wish you a merry Christmas, what's left!!

Lots of love,

Miriam

Algunas cositas más...: ¿Qué tal os va?

¡¡Chic@s!!
Solamente quería saber qué tal os va. Ya está. Poco más. Unas pocas palabras. Todo entre puntos. Para preguntar. Ya me entendéis. Pues eso. Preguntar. Si todo va bien. Si no lo va. Algunas cositas de esas. Porqué... ¿qué tal os va?

:) Dejando a parte mis paranoias... Desearos feliz navidad, ¡¡lo poco qué queda!!

Un beso,

Miriam

Some more little matters...: 2013 has arrived to the blog!!

Guys? How is it going? Did you choke with the grapes? I've gotta confess I had "lacasitos" instead of grapes, I don't like it (although I can't remember when I tasted them first...) :)

Well, we've got a whole year ahead of us!!
Filled with illusion, blog posts and happiness, yes it is!
I suppose you may have noticed I'm wide awake, more than yesterday, I've slept better... :)
I start my year with renewed forces!!
Lets get it beautiful.
I promise I'm going to write more this year, as in 2012 we had around seventy posts less than in 2011. I already told you this, that it's been a year of changes... But here we are still! Do not need to worry!

I wanted to announce that the section "La Imagen del Mes" has already "expired", and I'm sad about it. The thing is that the calendar from the one I took them doesn't have any contents that I haven't already posted so...  Do you remember "La Frase del Mes" and "Historia de los libros día a día"? I took those from the calendar too, poor thing, it's knackered (not really, it's well maintained and just because of its images it's worth keeping it).
So that's it, instead of lasts year's two problems we've got one. I'm saying farewell to this section sadly, as it was easy and fast to post and beautiful to read and admire. Despite all this I've managed to think about an alternative. It's far from being as beautiful as the photographs but I think we can manage. I could look EVERY MONTH (don't ask a lot from me, okay?) poems from different writers and post them here, in the blog.
Do you like the idea? It's a part of literature I don't usually work on and it's a pity 'cause it's pretty.

If you've got ideas... you know, post them and if I think it suitable I'll reply. :)

Lot's of love and a happy new year!!

Miriam

Algunas cositas más...: ¡¡Llego el 2013 al blog!!

¡Chic@s!

¡¡Un beso grande y feliz 2013!!

Miriam
