Hello! I have more bad news to tell you... Uff! This time an hurricane threats the United States and its called Irene. It´s diameter is 380 kilometers long and the speed of it´s winds is of 140 kilometers per hour. It has left at least 10 people death and people anticipated that it´s arrival to New York would be really really bad, at four in the afternoon in Spain, (ten in the morning in NY).A big Manhattan´s part has been evacuated and also other places in New York because the prediction was that the winds could be really fast at the arrival of Irene to the big city, that they would "travel" at 90 kilometers per hour.
Beyond all this it seems that it´s not so bad, leaving behind "little things" as the one that this last night more than 200.000 citizens have suffer a power out or that there are branches in the streets and things like that...
In theory it´s been more or less half and hour that Irene has arrived to New York. I can´t find more information and the only thing I can do is to wait for more information to arrive and to wish everything´s going well.
Remember that if you´re in a danger zone you should remain at home.

Señorita Miriam: No se dedonde saca usted tanta información sobre el huracan Irene: Yo lo que se ,lo se por la tele o el periodico de mi ciudad. De todas formas es interesante que abra el blog y me encuentre tanta infomación. Le doy las gracias por tenerme enterada de lo que ocurre. La tele la veo poco, porque me gustan pocos programas y me pongo a leer y así paso el tiempo luego salgo un rato de paseo aprovechando que hace buen tiempo, porque luego llega el invierno y no apetece tanto ¿No te parece? además empiezan los colegios,los trabajos, y es otro estilo vida más activo. Por eso es bueno descansar algunos ratos. Pues nada Miriam, que sigas bien, Otro verano que se pasa sin conocerte, que pena¡ ¿porque no quedamos un dia de estos y nos tomamos un refresco'? ya dirás adiooos, un abrazo de paz.
