Eventhough, we still do

You write in order to change the world, knowing perfectly well that you probably can't, but also knowing that literature is indispensable to the world... The world changes according to the way people see it, and if you alter, even by a millimeter, the way...

People look at reality, then you can change it.

English books: Sense & Sensibility

Hello, guys! I'm so sorry for having left the blog for so long: a whole week, practically two! But I've been having exams and those. In conclusion: no time at all. I actually had to pass over my theater class on Monday (which I didn't like at all). Well, the thing is that I've been reading a book, the one I finished two days ago. It's name is "Sense & Sensibility", a classic from Jane Austen, written in the year 1811.
This book tells us the story of the three Dashwood sisters and their mother, that as their father die they went to live to a cottage in Devonshire, leaving their house to their eldest brother.
The sisters names are Elinor, Marianne and Margaret.
In Devonshire, they live in the Barton cottage, from a cousin of theirs named Sir John Middleton. In there they meet their future husbands, but also some lovers that will make their time really hard. Above all, Elinor has to leave Edward Ferrars at their first house. What will happen with them? And Marianne? Will they be able to get above all the marriage of interests of their living time and choose with the heart? You'll see if you read it, but I assure you that you'll enjoy it better if you're a girl. Also let me tell you that it's a whole love novel.
I leave you the information on the book:
Title: Sense & Sensibility
Printer: Chatto & Windus (LONDON)
Author: Jane Austen
Cover design: None
Collection design: Chatto & Windus (LONDON)
Parts of the book: 1 (it's a single book)
Pages of the story:279

I hope you all enjoy it! Count on with that it's a really old book, so the cover is in cloth and I put a drawing that represents a really important moment in the story in the photograph, as the one I have you'll never be able to find it and buy it.

Miriam
