Guys! Two days ago I finished reading "Mockingjay"!
As a teacher of mine would say, .... I don't remember what I was about to tell you. That's because my mother forced me to take a shower before continuing!! It's her fault, don't blame me ;) Ah! I just remembered.
As a teacher of mine would say, "Amaaaaaaaaaazing" ;) Weird, eh?
Well, to the point. This last amaaaaaaaaaazing, astonishing and incredible novel to finish "The Hunger Games trilogy" tells us how Katniss Everdeen is saved from the arena by the rebels, leaving Peeta behind to the Capitol. She misses him so badly she agrees to be the revolution's face just for the rebels to save him.
This novel tells us about the hard times Katniss spends trying to decide between Gale and Peeta, trying to be strong and secure to give hopes to people living in Panem, trying to destroy the Capitol, trying to find out who really tries to help the people suffering the injustices of their leaders... Trying to be a superhero. But as she's not she will have quite a few problems resolving everything.
In the middle, president Snow seems to want to try to hurt her in anyway as possible, by hurting the people she loves and so hurting her at the same time.
Although we all know Katniss is strong, will she survive this? How many people she will lose? Will she ever be able to regain what she loses?
You'll find out soon enough if you just do... read the book ;)

QUERIDA MIRIAM: ya voy enterandome poco a poco de lo que escribes, sobre todo si lo haces en ingles... soy feliz de tener una amiga como tu que tiene tanta cultura, a mi me gusta mucho "La Traviatta ,El gato mantes, Luisa Fernanda, DOÑA FRANCISQUITA,-LA DEl manojo de rosas, los claveles, molinos de viento , Placido Domingo, José Manuel SOto, El arrebato, juan manuel serrat, sabina, y muchos más , en eso soy bastante culta. y en jotas aragonesas, Jesus GRacia y Nacho del Rio, y en Navarras, los iruñako.......... y tambien el encierro de pamplona , aunque no lo veo nunca ,porque esttoy siempre en Granada, pero me meto en internet y lo veo , lo que más me gusta es cuando le pilla el toro a un mozo y no le hace nada, !que gozada¡ Estoy terminando el curso de guitarra y piano, es que quiero volverme "gitana" para poder ganar dinero y comprarme un restaurante..... no se si lo conseguiré, ṕero si no no me importa, porque me comprare una lata de tomate, y tan feliz......

ResponderEliminarYo voy bien, esperando ya al verano y por tanto a que llegue San Fermín para publicar un par de cosas en el blog. Igual me voy contigo a Granada pero antes me gustaría enseñarte un pueblo mío que es muy bonito y tranquilo en el Norte de Navarra. Se llama Burgui, ¿te suena? A mí hasta el nombre me trae tranquilidad, ¡aunque le tienes que ver a mi abuela con la redecilla a las noches...!
Te deseo suerte con tu chico del Zaire, (qué por cierto no sé donde está). ¡Haber si a la cuarta va la vencida!
Yo también te quiero pero igual en vez de paella nos tomamos una buena ensalada, que estoy más de cosas frescas últimamente. ¿Has probado el melón? Están buenísimos en esta época del año. ¿Y las cerezas? Yo todavía no he comprado pero no tardaré, que me gustan mucho.
Pues nada, Paz. Ya iremos a por el cerdo a Peralta y lo guardas tu, pero que sea grande para que podamos montar una comida de amigos y familia, ¿qué te parece?
