You write in order to change the world, knowing perfectly well that you probably can't, but also knowing that literature is indispensable to the world... The world changes according to the way people see it, and if you alter, even by a millimeter, the way...
Today is the 31st of October, the last day of the month and so it takes place the party named Halloween. It's a party in the one people get dressed as monsters or fiction characters and they go through different houses at night asking for sweets with the "trek or treat".
This party is more popular in America, Ireland and England. Ireland people took it to America when they went there to live.
At first, it seems that it was a religious party, transforming it self until it's something for having fun.
The thing is that tonight's the big night so, happy Halloween and have an SCARY TIME!
Hello guys! This afternoon I watched "Super 8", a great film on a group of friends that want to film a film. The day they are practicing it in a train station at midnight a train appears and an accident takes place. A car crushes with the train and everything explodes. This group of friends and their camera are the only persons that see it. They scape but on the next days an estrange creature appears and people start disappearing from the town, the same as all the dogs.
What's happening? Does it have something to do with the accident that Joe and his friends saw? Watch the film and discover it!
I think it was for boys older than seven. It gets scary at some moments but... I liked it the same.
Hello guys! How is it going? Today the hour has changed! I'm so happy about it, I love winter hours. At six it seems to you that you have to be having dinner or in home because of the dark it is, :) incredible! It's like a new dimension to me, a new world!
A conversation with my mum this morning when I have woke up it's been:
-Hey, are you up so early?
And me:
-What time is it?
-Ten in the morning.
-And have they changed the hour?
-Yep.
-So it's not so early!
The conversation went farther but that's the important part of it.
So guys, have fun and enjoy the new hour and the new dimension!
¡Hola chic@s!
-Qué pronto te levantas, ¿no?
Y yo:
Hello again! I have one more book to tell you about. It's called "The invention of HUGO CABRET" by Brian Selznick.
This book talks about Hugo Cabret, a boy that lives in a train station in Paris in the year 1931. Hugo became orphan when his father died in a fire in the museum he was working. He went to live with his uncle to the train station were he learned how to repair the clocks and those.
Suddenly, his uncle disappears. Hugo doesn't want to go to and Orphanage so he continues repairing the clocks and stealing food for eating.
He feels sad and lonely. He misses his father a lot and the android that he was repairing. This android had a pencil on his hand and it was like to write something but it was broken. Hugo's father wanted to know what it would write and so he tried to make it work. When he died, the android was with him, at the museum.
One night, Hugo finds the android in the rests of the burned structure.
With a notebook that his father left him with drawings about how to repair it he tries so.
But one day, trying to steal a toy for using it's mechanical pieces, the owner catches him and takes his book. It seems to Hugo that this men knows something about the android... what would happen?
I leave it for you to discover it, I don't want to ruin the story!
I want to tell you that this book is a treasure. It has amazing paintings that tell the story instead of words some times. If you buy it I'm sure that you'll find it as wonderful as I do.
I also found a great page on it, I leave it here for you:
